Hi Autumn! Andrea here, this is some really outstanding artwork. I loved it because of how it includes an adorable butterfly, the pencil looks really effective and well colored, especially in the trees.
ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of when I was a year one and two, learning about the life cycle of a butterfly.
Maybe next time you could experiment with different mediums and try use paint or watercolor.
What is your favorite type of butterfly? I love them all, even moths!
Hi Autumn, I'm Katie from Parkview Parua school as you know.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you did the trees in the background and how you did the lines on the leaves; there is so much little detail.
I know how hard it is to color in with pencil and you can always see all of the lines so you did so well.
Maybe next time you could write more on your blog to go with it and tell how long it took or something like that.
Did you have to do a butterfly?
Kia Ora Autumn,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Tara, I am a year 6 from Papakura Central School.
Your art is absolutely stunning! I love the butterfly, you can tell how much hard work has been put into it. The tree branches and the leaves look great, I love how you put the blue outline around it. It reminds me of taking a walk by the beach or running around at the park. Maybe next time you could try giving us a longer description. You could tell us what inspired you to do a butterfly. It's quite hard to spot any white spaces, so you did a lovely job.
Have a great day,
Tara
